Excursion Desert Safari by Bus:

1st Day EL DJEM / MATMATA / DOUZ :
05H00-06H00     Breakfast at the hotel.
06H00  Departure to El Djem , visit of the Roman Amphitheatre, the biggest colosseum left by the Romans in North Africa.
09H00   coffe break, then Departure to Matmata via Gabes.
13H30   visit of the cavedwellings in Matmata , lunch in the hotel Diar El Barber, The inhabitants of Matmata will be pleaed to welcome you to visit their Typical Houses with th old furniture and the original colours from the old Tunisia.
15H00   departure to Douz , to explore the golden sand dunes with the oases and the picturesque sunset in the desert , there is a camel ride (optional).
16H30   Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Douz.
2nd Day :
05H00 - 05H45   Breakfast at the hotel.
06H00   departure to Tozeur via Chott El Djerid, The Big salty lake
08H00   arrival to Tozeur.
08H00 - 11H00   Visit of the oases of Tozeur and the Meuseum Dar Chraiet (optional).
Alternative 2 (Optional excursion)
07H30   Possibility of an optional Excursion on a 4X4 to the mountain oases of chebika and Tamerza where you can enjoy the drive on the sund dunes and the salty lake , and to discover the fabulous scenary and landscape of the mountains in the desert
13H00   Lunch in the restaurant Gafsa
15H30   Departure to Kairouan via Gafsa , on arrival you can see the panoramic vue of the mosque and the city , and the bazars of the Medina
17H30   drive back to Hammamet
